We are looking for Girls and Boys who want to ride
The Benicia Team is racing the 2023 season. Volunteers are always welcome and can preride the courses with us. During races we need food prep, spotters, and feed zone volunteers. Races are held on 6 mile courses in rugged terrain. Racers carry RFID tags built into the race plate to provide NorCal League finishing times. You can help sponsor Benicia's Middle and High School Mountain Bike Team. We compete in the NICA NorCal League. We offer middle and high school students the opportunity to learn mountain biking skills in a fun environment and race against other students of their age. We are all volunteers and are trained and vetted by the NorCal League as Level 1, 2, or 3 Coaches. We receive no financial support from any school district instead depending on our community and families participating to support our riders and practices. All kids are welcome but space may be limited. This is a coed, no drop, sport. Everyone rides and most race too.
Strait Circle Inc is a registered 501c3 organization created to pool funds for kids to race and train in the NICA NorCal League. All funds donated go to league fees and to direct support of our team with full transparency to families. Donations are tax deductible.
